Numbers aren't what they seem!

I'm openly protesting the nike+ numbers on the side of this blog. My nike+ is not working correctly. Last Saturday I ran for 80 minutes and it only clocked me running 6.75 miles. That's 12 min/miles - I'm not the greatest runner, but that is just wrong. If anyone is interested in getting some good running hardware checkout the Garmin forerunner 205 or 305. Pretty cool...

The Moab Challenges...

In order to keep ourselves motivated for the next seven weeks, Dave and I have engaged in a couple of little friendly challenges--to see who runs the most miles over 60 days and to see who has the fastest time in a 5 mile run. Everyone is welcome to join in...but you need to have the Nike+ for your iPod and have an account on nikeplus.com. Not to plug products, but the Nike+ is only $30 and well worth the money. If you are able to participate, feel free to join in or add additional challenges.

Hey all you runners!

So Alex is starting to have second thoughts and is having a rough time starting his training. (personally I think his ego is still hurting). So if you get the chance give him some encouragement!
